GRADUATE STUDENT FELLOWSHIP
(Unit of Award: Information Storage & Processing Systems Division (ISPS))

Date Established 2004
Achievement Recognized To encourage technical research related to the field of information storage and processing systems, among Mechanical Engineering graduate students across the world.
Limitations Mechanical Engineering graduate students, pursuing thesis based research in areas of interest to the information storage and processing systems. The student should not have defended his/her thesis by the time that the fellowship is awarded. A graduate student is eligible to receive this award only once during his/her career.
Nomination Deadline October 30

The graduate fellowship consists of a monetary award of $1500 and free registration for the annual ISPS Conference in the year the award is granted.

Recipients Selected By The Awards Committee of the ISPS Division
Selection Process The Awards Committee of the ISPS Division will decide the winner of the fellowship. The decision will be based on the following criteria: Conduct research in the area of information storage and processing systems. Demonstrate/promise significant theoretical/applied achievements in graduate research in the areas of interest of the division. Support letters from faculty and/or industry.
Funding Availability The Graduate Fellowship consists of a monetary award of $1500 and free registration is funded ISPS
